Punjab National Bank (PNB) has appointed SC Gupta as chairman

Gupta was earlier chairman of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB). Gupta started his career with the State Bank of India in 1966 and moved on to Syndicate Bank. He then joined Oriental Bank of Commerce where he became executive director in 1999. He was appointed IOB chairman in December 1999.
